Spring Project Showcase | Algoma Venture Academy
May 20 @ 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm
Join us on May 20, from 4–6 PM at Algoma Venture Academy (1715 Division Street) for our Spring Project Showcase, a celebration of student innovation, creativity, and hands-on learning. This event highlights the exciting projects AVA students have completed throughout the semester, demonstrating the real-world skills and problem-solving abilities they develop in our unique, student-centered learning environment.
From scientific experiments to creative arts, entrepreneurial ventures, and environmental initiatives, every project tells a story of curiosity, determination, and collaboration. Attendees will see firsthand how AVA’s project-based learning approach encourages students to take ownership of their education, explore their passions, and apply their knowledge in meaningful ways.
What to Expect:
- Engaging displays that showcase student creativity, innovation, and critical thinking.
- Opportunities to speak with AVA educators and learn more about our hands-on, student-led learning model.
- Interactive experiences where guests can ask questions and gain insight into the students’ process and inspiration.
- A chance to see how student projects make an impact in the classroom, community, and beyond.
Whether you are a prospective family exploring educational options, a community member supporting local talent, or a returning family excited to celebrate student achievements, this showcase offers an inspiring glimpse into what makes AVA unique. Guests will leave with a better understanding of how our students learn, create, and grow through experiences that combine innovation, collaboration, and personal initiative.
